Remembrance: A Humanist Reflection – Registration

Registration is now open for Remembrance: A Humanist Reflection, the first remembrance event to be held by Defence Humanists and the Defence Humanist Network.

The event will be taking place on 13 November 2016 at 13:00 in the newly renovated Fitzrovia Chapel (2 Pearson Square, W1T 3BF). Members of Defence Humanists can register your free place on the British Humanist Association Website.

The ceremony will be led by humanists serving in the armed forces and MOD. Starting with a seminar, our Patron, Professor AC Grayling, will be talking about ‘Finding meaning in remembrance’, and staff of the BHA and members of Defence Humanists will cover various other topics exploring remembrance from a humanist perspective. Defence Humanists will then lead a ceremony marking the occasion.

We hope to see you for this very important event.

  1. I have just registerd to attend this event, as a current serving member of the Army I would like to know if we will be expected to attend in our No 2’s?

    • Michelle, the admin order has not yet been published, but dress for the Army is No 2 with Medals and Leathers.
